“ [Your Ex] seems like the kind of asshole who very seldom is unhappy (except for maybe pending court cases and shit he brings upon himself) simply because he doesn’t consider other people’s feelings … it’s easy to stay very content if you don’t give a shit about other people. He could have weathered out your tough time together, but he is obviously too selfish to even deal with a little discomfort, so he figured it would make his life easier if he didn’t have someone around whose happiness he was partly responsible for—if anything, I feel bad for the girls he’s meeting, because he might put them through what he did to you—or worse. So he may be out having a ball with these hot bitches, but in the end, he’s going to be a fat hick loser with half a dozen kids he can’t support, and the “hot bitch” who becomes his wife will likely spend every day of her life with him wishing she’d been the one dumped via text message. Meanwhile, you’ll be back on the East Coast sipping margaritas with me on a back deck while our kids beat the hell out of each other and our handsome, well-educated husbands make us dinner.
